What is Return Day?
Return Day is a unique event that takes place two days after Election Day, marking the official end of the election cycle. This tradition dates back to 1812, and it offers politicians a chance to "bury the hatchet" and reconnect with their constituents in a spirit of unity and goodwill. It’s a day to gather, reflect, and reconnect with friends and neighbors in a lively atmosphere. The celebration includes a parade, food vendors, and various activities suitable for all ages, making it a perfect outing for families and friends alike.
Join the Sussex GOP at our tent in Georgetown Circle!

This year, the Sussex GOP invites you to join us at our tent at the Georgetown Circle for an event filled with camaraderie, local engagement, and festive activities.
