In addition to the upcoming referendum, Indian River residents will also have the opportunity to vote for school board members on May 13, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Indian River School District 1: Two Seats Open (Georgetown area)
Current School Board Member: Lisa Hudson Briggs - registered Republican
Current School Board Member: Kelly Kline - registered Democrat
Neither has filed to run yet.
Indian River School District 2: One Seat Open (near Mulligan's Point)
Current School Member: Jerry Peden, Jr. - registered Democrat - has filed to run.
Indian River School District 4: One Seat Open (38th and parts of 41st Districts)
Current School Board Member: Connie Pryor - registered Republican - will not seek re-election.
