Seaford’s “Candyland Christmas” Parade

From the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to festive hometown processions lighting up communities across Delaware, the holiday parade season is officially here. Families are gathering, floats are dazzling, and towns everywhere are celebrating the magic of the season. One of the most anticipated events on the Delmarva Peninsula is the Seaford Christmas Parade, returning on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 7:00 PM—and this year’s theme promises to be the sweetest yet: “Candyland Christmas.”

A Candy-Coated Christmas Tradition

The Seaford Christmas Parade transforms the town into a holiday wonderland, and this year’s Candyland theme invites participants to get creative with gumdrop garlands, peppermint swirls, gingerbread characters, and sugary sparkle. Expect bright colors, whimsical floats, marching bands, dancers, and community groups bringing the theme to life in joyful, imaginative ways.

Adding to the excitement, Bill Bennett, beloved Seaford native, will serve as the Grand Marshal, leading the parade with hometown pride.
