Delaware Ag Week is almost here!
Monday, Jan. 12 - Thursday, Jan. 15
For more than two decades, Delaware Agriculture Week has served as a cornerstone event for the First State’s farming and agricultural community. From January 12–15, farmers, producers, industry professionals, and partners from across Delaware will once again gather at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington to learn, connect, and share knowledge during this annual celebration of agriculture.
Delaware Agriculture Week offers a unique opportunity to bring together every segment of the agricultural industry in one place. Attendees can take part in wide-ranging breakout sessions, earn continuing education credits, hear directly from industry experts, and engage in valuable networking opportunities. In addition, several dozen vendors and exhibitors will be on site, showcasing products, services, and innovations that support Delaware agriculture.
2026 Session Schedule Highlights
The four-day event features a diverse lineup of sessions designed to meet the needs of Delaware’s varied agricultural sectors:
Monday, January 12
Afternoon sessions will focus on Poultry and Fruit, followed by evening sessions on Poultry and Beef, along with meetings of the Grain Marketing Club.
Tuesday, January 13
Morning sessions include General Vegetables and Hay and Pasture. Afternoon sessions will cover Fresh Market Vegetables and Swine, along with Farm Risk Ready and the Delaware Farm Bureau. Evening programming includes Small Ruminant and Deer Management sessions.
Wednesday, January 14
Morning sessions will focus on Processing Vegetables and Woodland Management. Afternoon offerings include Soil for Farmers, Pollinator Sessions, and DDA Farm To… Programs. Evening sessions will address Soil Health and Small Flock Poultry.
Thursday, January 15
The final day begins with Agronomy sessions covering corn, sorghum, and cover crops, followed by afternoon agronomy sessions on soybeans and small grains. The event concludes with an evening session hosted by the Delaware Urban Farm & Food Coalition.
Registration and Attendance Information
While registration is not required to attend Delaware Agriculture Week overall, some sessions do require pre-registration. Attendees are encouraged to review speaker details, session locations, and registration requirements in advance by visiting:
New for 2026: Biosecurity & Virtual Options
New this year, if a poultry-related event requires biosecurity measures, those sessions will be offered via live webinar. Individuals planning to attend poultry sessions in person are asked to register at:👉 http://www.udel.edu/0014007
If any schedule changes occur, registered participants will be notified and provided with a link to join the session virtually.
