From Charles F. Michel, RDC for the 39th District -Sussex County Republican Party
First, I would like to congratulate Daniel Willis on his election as Delaware Republican State Vice Chair. Daniel’s work ethic and leadership he displayed as the Sussex County Chair has led him to this new opportunity, which I feel will not only meet; but exceed expectations of his new position. Again, congratulations, and best of luck going forward.
Next, Tom Molnar will now move up from Sussex County Vice Chair to Chair of Sussex County. I feel Tom’s years of experience working with the Republican Party will serve him well. He is the right person for this job. Best of luck to you going forward as well Tom.
Sheppard Kilby is another great Republican who is now moving up to fill the Vice Chair of Sussex County. He brings with him a vast amount of knowledge working tirelessly with the Republican Party in New Jersey. I’ve seen nothing but hard work and determination to improve our Republican image here in Delaware, since he and his wife Barbara moved to Seaford. Best of luck going forward to you as well Shep.
Finally, with Shep’s promotion, he leaves the 39th RDC position vacant. As Vice RDC for the 39th District, it would be my honor to follow Shep as RDC for the 39th District. In the last 10 years, I have seen participation grow from 10 or fewer members sporadically attending monthly meetings, to 25-30 active members attending meetings on a regular basis.
As RDC, I look to continue pushing a strong Republican presence here in Sussex County, getting out the vote, and supporting Republican causes throughout Delaware. My first priority is to appoint the 39th Vice RDC. After careful consideration, I have selected Roy Collins for this position. I feel Roy will excel at his new position, and I look forward to working with him to continue advancing the 39th District.
Sincerely,
Charles F. Michel
RDC for the 39th District
