The Delaware Senate Republican Caucus has reaffirmed its leadership team for the upcoming 153rd General Assembly, with Senator Gerald Hocker (R-Ocean View) continuing as the Republican Leader and Senator Brian Pettyjohn (R-Georgetown) re-elected as the Republican Whip.
Senator Hocker, who represents the 20th Senate District, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue leading the Senate Republican Caucus, marking his fourth term in the role. In his remarks, he emphasized the key priorities for the caucus as it heads into the new legislative session: improving Delaware’s education system, enhancing public safety, and addressing the economic challenges faced by everyday Delawareans.

Senator Pettyjohn was also re-elected to serve his third consecutive term as Republican Whip.
