🎖️ What the American Flag Means
The Stars and Stripes is more than fabric — it’s the embodiment of liberty, sacrifice, and perseverance.
According to the U.S. Flag Code:
“The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing.”
It should never touch the ground, should be illuminated if flown at night, and should be retired with dignity when no longer serviceable. By observing the code, we show reverence not only to a symbol but to the generations who fought and died to defend it.
