The program restricts new providers from entering the market, raising costs and limiting choices for consumers. As evidence shows, this anti-competitive regulation only serves to protect established providers, making healthcare less accessible and affordable for Delawareans.

SB 159 is the law passed after Sussex County denied US Wind’s permit to land cables at 3Rs Beach. The General Assembly then declared the project approved despite that denial.
